Very attractive store is located in Oakland, not too far from the Oakland-Berkeley border.  What High Strung Beads  lacks in size it more than makes up for in quality, service, and friendliness.  The staff, perhaps in recognition of the limited size of the store, have gone to great lengths to select only the finest beads and findings.  If this store has a niche, it is vintage beads.  The store also has a small classroom for one-on-one or group instruction. It is located in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland, one of the city's very finest areas.
